Thank you for using Rhythm, a workout timer application for Wear OS. This privacy policy describes how your data is handled when you use our application.

Data We Collect

Rhythm is designed to function with minimal data collection. We collect the following types of information:

1. Anonymous Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized data about how you interact with the app. This may include events like starting a workout, completing a workout, and using key features. This information is completely anonymous, is not linked to you personally, and helps us understand which features are most popular so we can improve the app.
2. Location Data: To provide the workout map feature, Rhythm accesses your device's location only while a workout is actively in progress. This location data is used solely to draw the path of your workout on the screen.

How We Use Your Data

• Anonymous Usage Data is used to analyze app performance, identify bugs, and guide future development.
• Location Data is used exclusively to display the workout path on your device screen during the celebration/summary phase of your workout.

Data Storage and Sharing

• The path of your workout (a series of location points) is stored only on your device and only for the duration of the workout session. It is deleted when you dismiss the celebration screen.
• We do not store, save, or transmit your location data to any external servers.
• If you choose to use the "Save" feature on the celebration screen, a screenshot of your workout summary (which may include the map) is saved as an image to the public "Pictures" directory on your device only.
• We do not share any personal or location data with third parties.

Your Consent

By using Rhythm, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. The app will request your permission to access your location and to post notifications when you first use these features.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
